February Half Term at Lewes Castle Join us this February Half Term for a fun range of family-friendly activities at Lewes Castle. Solve a medieval mystery, craft your own royal crown, and witness thrilling displays of medieval life.
Medieval Mystery Activity Trail 15th – 23rd February (Daily) Take on the role of a detective and uncover the mystery of the stolen objects as you explore the castle with this fun codebreaker activity. This self-led trail is perfect for curious minds of all ages. Complete the trail and you'll get a sweet treat as a reward.
Crown-Making Fun 15th & 21st February, 11am – 2pm Let your creativity shine as you design and decorate your very own crown to take home. A royally fun activity for the whole family.
Family storytelling session – Tales in the Turret 19th & 20th February – 11am, 11.30am and midday Join our mysterious storyteller and be regaled with magical tales of castles, dragons and daring deeds! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Sussex Medieval Society Storms the Castle 22nd February, 11am – 4pm Experience the thrill of medieval life in the castle's Gun Garden. Enjoy combat displays, learn about the Arming of the Knight, and discover the fascinating (and slightly gory) world of medieval surgery.
All activities are included with general admission and are free for Members of Sussex Past.
