We are linked by services from London Victoria & London Bridge, Southampton, Ashford and Brighton with connecting services to London Gatwick and Newhaven Port. You can also try Trainline one of Europe’s leading train and coach apps. They work with 207 rail and coach companies.

We are easily accessible from Europe by two daily, 4 hour ferry services from Dieppe to Newhaven Port. Visitors may also use the Dover/ Calais route, with a travel time of around 90 minutes. For private yachts and motorboat, visitor berths are available at Newhaven Marina.

Travelling by air could not be easier, with a choice of two airports London Gatwick Airport which is just to the north of our beautiful coast and countryside and Shoreham (Brighton City) Airport. If you’re using satnav the postcodes for London Gatwick are as follows.

Travelling from the north, the Lewes area connects to the M25/M23 and M26 motorways with journey times just over an hour from London. From the west you can easily access the beautiful countryside we have to offer, by using the A27/ A272 and from the east use the A259 coast road or M20/M26.

Luggage can be stored at Self Storage Space opposite Lewes Train Station, ideally situated for visitors to Lewes Town, Glyndebourne or the South Downs National Park.
