Join us for a Family Tree Planting Day on Sunday 3rd December. The day will run 10am-4pm, join us for the whole day or just a part of it.
We have 210 trees to plant and we want to make it a great event for all the family. The trees will add colour and variety to the wood and provide fruits and berries for the birds. As well as tree planting, there will be family-friendly craft activities, games and play.
Please dress warmly and comfortably and bring a packed lunch and drinks. We will be offering a warm soup at lunchtime if you happen to be there, so bring a cup/bowl and spoon just in case.

From Lewes:Head through Laughton village on the B2124. Go past the post office and turn left at the first crossroads onto Park Lane. Continue for about a mile to the parking area by Vert Lane, the single track off on the right. You'll see the Laughton Greenwood information board as you enter.
The number 28 bus travelling between Eastbourne and Brighton stops at Stonecross Business Centre. From here, it is a 17 minute walk along Park Lane to the Vert Lane entrance into the woods. For the Keepers Gate entrance, it is a 27 minute walk along Park Lane.
