Visit Lewes and Newhaven Festival are pleased to announce the return of Brewhaven Sussex craft beer festival to the atmospheric surroundings of Newhaven Fort.
To celebrate the fantastic and diverse craft beers made in our special part of the South East, we’ve invited 16 of the best to showcase their products and sell direct to the public . There’ll also be some great local food producers serving delicious treats to help soak it up, and a wine and Sussex spirits bar for the non-beer drinkers.
At the over 18s only Friday and Saturday night 6 – 10pm sessions, we’ll be cranking up the festival atmosphere with fabulous music and DJs, while our brewers present their wares under the cover of an amazing WWII Romney Hut.
The Saturday afternoon session from 1 – 5pm will be laid back, family friendly affair with the Fort’s playground open and free craft activity to keep younger festival goers entertained. The café will be serving soft drinks, ice cream, snacks and sandwiches, while adults will be tempted with even more craft beer.
Tickets can be booked by clicking 'Book Now' at the top of this page, or in person from Lewes and Seaford Tourist Information Centres, and Dee's Newsagents in Newhaven. 0 - 3 year olds will be admitted for free during the afternoon, but must have a ticket booked as numbers are strictly limited. Children participating in craft activities must have an adult with them throughout.
The Fort is accessible for wheelchair users and motorised buggies and there are accessible toilets on site.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor space; assistance dogs only in the brewers area.
Help us keep Brewhaven single use plastic free by using our Green Goblet cups, and returning them at the end of the session.
With thanks to our partners, Newhaven Town Council, LYT Productions, Newhaven Fort and Seahaven FM
