The Lewes Music Group is proud to present The Birth of a Band as a part of its Origins event.
Join the Lewes Big Band as they outline the history of Big Band music from its origins to the present day. Repertoire will include Chameleon and In the Mood, alongside many other staples of Big Band music. There will also be a world premiere composition for Big Band and Djembe solo played by the West African Djembe player Sidiki Dembele.
