The historic Bull House, former home of radical thinker Thomas Paine, has reopened its doors after 40 years.
For six years between 1768 and 1774 it was the home of revolutionary writer Tom Paine, the intellectual inspiration behind the American revolution.
Pre-booked tours only at 11am and 1.30pm on Thursdays (no general admission outside these tours). Booking is by calling the Castle on 01273 486290.
General admission is Friday to Sunday, 11am - 3pm.
