Your Menopause

About

A not-for-profit event with excellent speakers including menopause specialist GP Dr Olivia Hum, Claire Brodie, Women's Health Physiotherapist, Louise Field, Pelvic Health Warrior; Sandra Whittle, a Pelvic Health physiotherapist. Anita Graham, a medical herbalist, Dr Zoe Schaedel a sleep doctor, Sheila Mandala-Auguste a relationship and sex psychotherapist, Dr Ingrid Wassenaar, yoga teacher and author of Motherload; Karen Newby, looking at natural solutions to menopause and Jo Fuller as menopause and menstruation educator. Our resident menopause movement guru will be getting people moving at different times throughout the day.

There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and Q&A's and the presentations will be scattered with breaks for food, drinks and chatting. We hope you'll have a lively and informative day..

We have a full menopause marketplace, including a bookstall, information, fun and functional merchandise, Mediterranean food from Lewes based kitchen Amlou, delicious coffee, homemade cakes and more from Cafe Domenica. An exhibition of women's portraits by photographer, Carlotta Luke.

We wrap up the day celebrating women in their Second Spring. Nuala O'Sullivan from Women Over Fifty Film Festival will be introducing and presenting two short films plus Q&A with filmaker, Sue Bridge. To ease you on your way, our resident singer songwriter Seema Kapila's gentle voice and rhythmic tunes, will tell of love, sorrow, fear and joy.

Any profit will go to national gynaecological cancer research company www.eveproject.co.uk
