In 2011 they performed at the Royal Albert Hall and in 2013 accompanied Sting in 20 shows at The Public Theatre, New York. Brothers Tom, Chris, Steve & Mike sing traditionally-oriented songs with deep understanding, joy & good humour. They shared a close friendship with Peter Bellamy and cite him as a major influence, along with The Copper Family, The Young Tradition, The Watersons, Johnny Collins, Jim Mageean and Fred Jordan amongst many others. They were awarded the EFDSS Gold Badge in 2018. In the workshop The Wilsons will explore their singing history and how the group evolved. Music reading is not needed. There will be plenty of chance to sing, try out some harmonies, and discuss the songs in the final 'Big Sing.'
