Join The Friends of Anne of Cleves' House for 'Travel in the Past: The Problems & Pleasures of the Journey' – a talk by Dr Janet Pennington.   Dr Pennington is an independent historian with a Diploma in English Local History, MA in Regional History, PhD in early-modern Sussex inn and tavern history. She has taught local history and paleography for University of Sussex, was an archivist at Lancing College and has been giving talks in Sussex and the south-east of England for the last 30 years, running classes, leading walks and publishing books and articles.

She is a long-standing member of the Sussex Family History Society and has published in their journal. Dr Pennington's talks are always interesting and informative as well as being highly entertaining.

Hosted by The Friends of Anne of Cleves' House, doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

A selection of drinks will be available from the bar.
