Hands Of Danu brings you a workshop that teaches you the art of hand-tufting.

During this 3-hour workshop, Hands of Danu owner - Lou will show you the necessary steps to make and leave with your own hanging Christmas decoration or coaster to adorn your home with or gift to a loved one. Using a punching needle, stretching ring, and sustainably sourced Welsh wools and Yorkshire yarns you will design, draw, tuft, glue, sew, back, and snip your way through the process.

Hands of Danu has held 'Go Tuft Yourself' workshops and sold her tufted wall hangings and coasters at artisan markets across London and is now on a journey to educate others of this resurging method of textile making.

About the maker: Lou has been making hand and gun-tufted wall hangings for the last few years after being inspired by the beauty of Mother Nature at her home in Wales. She has more recently focussed her attention to smaller pieces like coasters, vase rings and wreaths and is excited to impart her knowledge to other crafters!

All levels and abilities welcome.
