January's coffee-time talk for Friends of Lewes members features a look at the many plaques in the town that mark either people or places of interest where this may no longer be obvious.
Whilst few follow the best-known London scheme in being circular and blue, there are over 80 in all, and you are almost certain to find some nugget you had not seen before.
Marcus Taylor will fill in the details behind these brief captions and show some historic photographs.
