Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, has evolved into a graceful form of exercise balancing body, mind and spirit. Often described as meditation in motion, the continuous flowing movements of Tai Chi promote serenity when performed in a slow, focused manner. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion and promoting increased flexibility and balance.
The morning workshop will be held outside in the beautiful surroundings of the vineyard, enhancing your experience by allowing you to absorb the earth's natural energies. In a 2 hour Tai Chi workshop, Jo will guide you through a series of gentle movements and meditation exercises to circulate, gather and store Chi (life's energy) within the body. You'll explore how to move your body in ways that feel good and help you de-stress.
Afterward, enjoy a nutritious, seasonal 2-course lunch and a glass of Artelium wine with your fellow classmates. You'll leave feeling refreshed and relaxed—ready to take on whatever comes your way!
