We have asked a number of local performers to play an Xmas song in any style they choose. A full line up will be revealed on the Lamb Lewes Live Facebook later in the week. We will be making a donation to the LFB and there will be a collection on the night. In addition the Lamb will be acting as a temporary food bank, storing items in the kitchen for a Monday morning pick-up. We asked Debbie Twitchen from LFB what sorts of food people should bring. Here's her reply...
Things we are after for Christmas are cakes, chocolates, nuts, tinned fruits, dried fruits, savoury biscuits, sweet biscuits, posh fish (tinned salmon), posh meat (tinned ham).
We are always short of more staple things like pasta sauces, tinned fish and meat, tea, would also happily take fresh fruit and veg as it's going out the next day.
Do come along, support the food bank and have a great time (guaranteed!)
