Simon's hilarious banter and mandolin wizardry (he's one of the world's leading virtuosos, not to mention his fine guitar and fiddle playing) meets Hilary's "wonderfully honey-dripping voice" and unusual basses. Simon & Hilary will give us two forty-five minute spots and the rest of the evening is filled by members of the audience performing a song or tune if they wish.

Everyone is welcome, especially if you'd like to sing or play. We mostly sing and play traditional music from the British Isles, but we enjoy other styles as well. We always start off with some English dance tunes for anyone with an instrument to join in.

During the day Simon leads an all-day mandolin workshop & Hilary leads an all-day voice workshop. On Sunday Simon leads an all-day fiddle workshop - a rare treat - using mainly US Old-time & French Canadian music.

We have a loyalty card. Six visits earn you £5 off an evening when admission is £5 or more. It's £12 tonight. Tickets are available from the link on the club website.
