Enhance your photography skills. Get inspired. And meet others who share a passion for photography at Kate's all new Photography Cafe.
This twist on a traditional 'photography club' will be led by Kate Swanson, a qualified teacher and professional photographer. We will be joined by Sara Humphrey. Sara is a conservation communicator and wildlife photographer based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Sara first started getting to grips with wildlife photography and video around 6 years ago, knowing very little about the biodiversity found in the UK before this. A self-taught photographer, Sara's approach is centred on learning about wildlife fieldcraft, behaviour and capturing intimate portraits of animals behaving naturally.
Now Sara uses her photos and video to help inspire people about the wildlife they can find near home, highlighting how good fieldcraft is an important part of responsible wildlife photography. She uses a Nikon P950 camera and shares tips on how to find and photograph species through her 'Sussex Sara' social media accounts.
Sara's film and photography work has been featured on BBC Springwatch, ITV and by a number of conservation organisations.
