Pam and De Femmes

Pam and de Femmes are a band from Lewes.  They started in March 2019 as a foursome of females doing calpyso interludes for an evening of poets with Caribbean roots.  Later that year, they were joined by a rhythm section of bass and cajon, then accordion and violin.  They extended their song net to include Spanish, then Hungarian and Polish.  Now they are a six-piece band - sometimes seven - singing in languages from all around the world  they have performed songs in Czech, Swedish, German, Italian, Yiddish, Latvian, Ukrainian and American English, and more, constantly expanding their musical and linguistic repertoire.  

Much inspired by music from flms, they weill be presenting a smorgasbord of film-derived songs on 25th June at the Depot, Lewes, at one of their Dalliance nights in the garden area.  Starts at 6pm, goes on till around 8pm.
