A performance of Handel's much-loved masterpiece, by the Baroque Collective Orchestra and Singers, one of the best local choirs, directed by John Hancorn and with a line-up of professional soloists.
"Messiah" includes favourites such as the Hallelujah chorus and "For unto us a Son is born".
All proceeds will support the local charity "Doctors for Nepal", which helps improve healthcare in rural Nepal by empowering under-privileged students to serve as doctors and nurses in their remote mountain communities.
Wine and mince pies plus a Nepali craft stall pre-concert and during the interval.
