Learn how to make a fresh Christmas wreath to decorate your front door this festive season.
In this 1.5 hour workshop, Alex from Webb and Farrer will guide you through the steps and techniques to make your wreath. You'll build up the wreath using fresh seasonal foliage. Then choosing festive and scented decorations, like dried orange slices and pine cones, you'll learn how to secure them onto your wreath to decorate. At the end of the workshop you'll have a seasonal wreath that you can take home and enjoy.
Fresh wreaths are a fragrant and festive greeting on your front door and you can be extra proud knowing you've made your own with all British moss and foliage. Creating your wreath is a relaxing and mindful way to embrace the season of winter, taking a well deserved moment for yourself.
The workshop includes everything you need to make the wreath but please bring an apron and gardening gloves if you'd like to wear them because the binding wire and moss can get a bit dirty.
From the maker: I'm Alex Barton and I've been a florist since 2014. I took a flower arranging course for fun, when I lived in London all those years ago, and that was the moment I realised I wanted to work with flowers in this creative industry. This workshop is a great opportunity to take a moment for yourself and pause from the busy screen-based world.
