For July, Lewes History Group welcomes Marcus Taylor. He looks at the story of Southover's church over nine centuries.
Starting as a guesthouse for Lewes Priory, it became a parish church in the 13th century and has grown and adapted in response to changing needs and fashions ever since. Not all of this is easy to spot now, so let Marcus lead you through it, with an occasional anecdotal diversion.
