March sees Dr David Rudling presenting LHG's zoom talk which looks at 50 years of archaeological fieldwork in the Sussex Ouse valley. This provides a microstudy of Roman-period settlement and land-use, involving villas, farmsteads, industrial sites, roads and a nucleated settlement.
