Lee Miller Portraits features the sole form of photography that Lee Miller – model, Surrealist and war correspondent – continued to practice throughout her entire life; portraiture. Even after burying her archive of photography in the attic at Farleys, her Sussex home, she continued to occasionally photograph her friends. This exhibition traces Lee's early portraits and Vogue commissions, to capturing the face of World War Two and her final official portrait shot of renowned Catalan artist Antoni Tápies in his studio in 1972.
