Come along to the Gun Garden at the Castle this May Bank Holiday, which is free and open to all for this tradition dating back to Victorian times.
Make your way to the Castle for garland judging at 9.45am, and from 10am, Knots of May Morris dancers fill the garden with traditional May Day dancing.
Once the Mayor judges the children's garland competition, you can enjoy a procession along the High Street.
Entry to the Gun Garden is free from 9.45am to 11am. https://sussexpast.co.uk/event/garland-day-at-lewes-castle/
