Soldiers at the Castle stand face to face with the soldiers of the past as the Greens and Rangers march into Lewes Castle & Museum during February half term.
These Tudor soldier reenactors will be hosting demonstrations in the Gun Garden from 10am to 3pm throughout the day. Visitors will also be able to discover more about fighting techniques, weaponry and armour, while also handling some of the equipment.

Part of the Medieval Madness programme of February Half-Term activities taking place from 11th to 19th February at Lewes Castle.
Those who choose to Gift Aid tickets will be able to revisit the site for free for a year.

Lewes Castle is located in the town's High Street, close to bus stops and a short walk to the town's railway station.

Lewes is easily accessed from the A27, A26 and A275. Drivers using the A27 should enter the town from the eastern end of the Lewes by-pass via the Cuilfail Tunnel. Car parking and coach parking are available in the town.
The train station is a five minute walk from the castle and there is a taxi rank outside the main entrance to the station. Buses stop in the High Street, close to the castle.
