Bloomfield creates fascinating dreamscapes in three-dimensional collage, which are like small theatre sets that play with space and perspective, to draw the viewer into curious and sometimes confusing worlds.
Often her work suggests parallel realities: a juxtaposition of what is considered 'real' and what is imagined or desired, or the conflict between the façade and what may really be occurring out of view.
In this exhibition at Farley's Gallery Bloomfield brings together work from the last 12 years, where you will see these themes revisited and explored in a variety of styles and approaches.

Farleys House & Gallery are located in the hamlet of Muddles Green near Chiddingly which is just off the A22 between Uckfield and Hailsham in East Sussex.
Farleys is not currently easily accessed by public transport. Buses to the area are very limited, particularly on Sundays. There are regular trains to Lewes from London and towns and cities in Sussex. Taxis are available at Lewes station and the journey to Farleys takes about 20 minutes.
