Make a dried-flower crown, learn floristry skills, and take a creative moment for yourself along the way too. This 90-minute workshop will show you how to make your own dried-flower crown to take home with you.
Alex from Webb and Farrer will take you through the workshop step by step. You'll be using a variety of British dried flowers in different textures and colours so you can choose the final look of your design. Your crown will be ready to wear for a summer of festivals.
The dried flowers you'll be using are carefully selected to be as locally sourced as possible.
All levels and abilities welcome.
From the maker: I'm Alex Barton and I've been a florist since 2014. I took a flower arranging course for fun, when I lived in London all those years ago, and that was the moment I realised I wanted to work with flowers in this creative industry.
This workshop is a great opportunity to take a moment for yourself and pause from the busy screen-based world. Flowers bring a warm sense of nostalgia because the fragrances, petal shapes and colours remind us of fond memories with a connection to flowers and gardens in our past.
