Dublin-born Daoirì is a fine singer of Irish traditional song & turns the bouzouki into a force of nature, with a range from powerful to subtle & always in sympathy with the song. He began singing in the famous Góilin Singers Club & has accompanied Christy Moore, Dónal Luny, Martin Hayes, Dennis Cahill, Arty McGlynn & many more. In 2013 he won the All Ireland Champion Singer Award at the Fleadh in Co. Derry.
The workshop will cover bouzouki backing tunes, song accompaniment & arrangement, new chords & alternative runs. It's for enthusiastic beginners & intermediate players. Please bring a recording device to make sound & video recordings to help with follow-up study.
