DOA is not a dance class or a physical exercise class. DOA is 2h of experiential exploration of our own self in movement to music. DOA is a chance to connect with oneself, our environment and others in an non-verbal way. For adults of all physical capacity. You will need comfortable clothes and a blanket. You might want to wear soft shoes or dance barefooted. DOA is a therapeutic practice held in a group and practiced with others following several phases: sensing, grounding, expressing, releasing, connecting and completing.
The doors will open at 7pm and close at 7.30 so please do not arrive late. It is important as the evening starts with quiet meditative music. This practice was developed by Tim Brown and Clare Osmond of the Brighton School of Embodied Therapy.
