Newhaven Festival and Visit Lewes are pleased to announce the return of Brewhaven Sussex craft beer festival, in the atmospheric surroundings of Newhaven Fort. This time it's bigger and better than ever, with three sessions: Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon.
To celebrate the fantastic and diverse craft beers made in our special part of the South East, we’ve invited 15 of the best to showcase their products and sell direct to the public . There’ll also be some great local food producers serving delicious treats to help soak it up, and a wine and Sussex spirits bar for the non-beer drinkers.
The two daytime sessions, from 1 – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, will be laid back, family friendly events with the Fort’s playground open and free craft activities to keep younger visitors entertained. The café will be serving soft drinks, ice cream, snacks and sandwiches, while our brewers present their wares under the cover of an amazing WWII Romney Hut.
At the over 18s only Saturday night 6 – 10pm session, we’ll crank up the festival atmosphere with even more fabulous craft beer, great food, music and DJs.
Tickets can be booked by clicking 'Book Now' at the top of this page, or in person from Dees Newsagent, Newhaven, or Lewes and Seaford Tourist Information Centres. 0 - 3 year olds will be admitted for free during the afternoon, but must have a ticket booked as numbers are strictly limited. Children participating in craft activities must have an adult with them throughout.
The Fort is accessible for wheelchair users and motorised buggies and there are accessible toilets on site.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor space; assistance dogs only in the brewers area.
