This heart warmer of a musical comedy drama is the work of the man behind Bend It Like Beckham. Set in 1987 Luton, it is about a teenager of Pakistani descent who faces prejudice outside his home and traditional constraints within. He finds his voice through Bruce Springsteen lyrics.
