March 8th is International Women's Day and on this day breweries around the world brew a beer to celebrate and honour all women folk. So it seemed only correct that this month's Beer Cadets focused attention on WOMEN IN BEER. We'll look at the history of women and brewing (spoiler alert, we did it first), talk about contemporary brewing and hospitality initiatives such as Brave Noise, which strives to make drinking and producing beer safer and more equitable, and we'll drink a range of beer made by women, or from breweries owned or run by women. Open minds and palates welcome!
