Small Wonder returns – the UK's only festival dedicated to short-form writing.
From short stories and essays to poetry and lyrics, the shortest forms of literature are some of the most immediate, powerful and impactful. Small Wonder brings together leading and emerging voices at the cutting edge of art and literature.
This year's line-up includes musician, producer, performance artist and feminist icon Peaches in conversation about her boundary-pushing lyrics, legendary food writer Claudia Roden on recipes as stories, and award-winning author of the precise but powerful debut novel 'Assembly', Natasha Brown. Also joining us are the artist and comic Jim Moir, best known by his alter ego Vic Reeves, acclaimed writer Will Self, and many more…
From the 13-16 October, celebrate the short-form across thought-provoking performances, timely discussions and workshops.
