Southover's annual Open Gardens event offers a unique opportunity to visit some of Lewes' most secret hidden gardens. There are a wide range of gardens to see, including several new ones, from large traditional English to small, more modern interpretations.
2-5pm (some gardens open till 6pm) Proceeds to Southover Bonfire Society. Entry by ticket only. Price £5 (Children free). Tickets available from Lewes Tourist Information Centre, The King's Head, The Swan, St Pancras Stores.
