Lewes Walking Tour

Join local art historian Naomi Daw on a guided tour of Lewes, the historic county town of Sussex. In this lively and informative tour, we will explore some of the historic sites, events, and figures associated with the town.

Each tour is approximately 2 hours in length.

Tours begin promptly at the times specified. Please arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to meet your guide.

All tours start from Lewes Tourist Information Centre at 187 High Street, Lewes, BN7 2DE.

This tour will cover some steep hills and rough ground, so sturdy shoes are advised. We will also be crossing a number of busy roads. Attendees are therefore advised that they are responsible for their own health and safety whilst on this tour.

This tour is suitable for those aged 16+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The meeting point for the tour is Lewes Tourist Information Centre at 187 High Street, Lewes, BN7 2DE. This is a 5 minute walk from Lewes Station via Station Street. The Tourist Information Centre is also accessible by bus from the Brighton or Tunbridge Wells area, simply use a 28, 29 or 29B and alight at Lewes High Street. It is then a 2 minute walk.here is some on street parking available on Lewes High Street and the nearest car park is at Lewes station. Lewes is a very busy town and it can often be difficult to park, so if you are travelling by car please ensure you leave enough time to find a space.
