Join us at the Timeform January Jumps Raceday on Wednesday 19th January for our first midweek fixture of 2022. After a brilliant period of Christmas racing culminating in the Sussex National Raceday earlier in January, we return to midweek action with an exciting six-race card.
The feature on the day is the Class 3 Conditional Jockeys' Veterans' Handicap Chase and some old favourites of National Hunt racing are sure to line up in this contest open to horses aged ten or above. The race is run over three miles and one furlong with £17,000 of prize-money up for grabs. Elsewhere on the card we have a Class 4 Handicap Hurdle worth over £13k, plus a Novices' Hurdle for the future stars of National Hunt racing.
Away from the track, we have a lovely selection of local and national drinks available from our three racecourse bars and bean to cup coffee from the Southdown Stand, which also serves deli-style food. There are catering concessions serving pizzas, burgers and tacos behind the grandstands for you to enjoy, while pies and light refreshments can be purchased from the Paddock Bar and Chasers Bar.
Gates open at 11.25am ahead of the first race at 1.25pm - it would be great to welcome you along!
